Candles are products that involve an open flame and must always be used responsibly.

Blessed Remedies is committed to providing products intended to be enjoyed safely when used according to their instructions. However, improper candle use can result in fire, property damage, serious injury, or death.

Never Leave a Burning Candle Unattended

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Always extinguish a candle before leaving the room, going to sleep, or when the candle is no longer being actively monitored.

Keep Candles Away From Flammable Materials

Keep burning candles away from:

• Curtains
• Bedding
• Paper
• Furniture
• Decorations
• Clothing
• Other flammable or combustible materials

Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant, level surface before lighting.

Keep Away From Children and Pets

Keep candles, candle accessories, matches, lighters, and other flame-related products out of the reach of children and pets.

Children and pets should never be left unattended near a burning candle.

Keep Candles Away From Drafts

Avoid placing candles near fans, vents, open windows, air-conditioning outlets, or other sources of moving air.

Drafts can cause uneven burning, excessive flame movement, smoke, or other unsafe burning conditions.

Wick Care

Always follow the wick-trimming instructions provided with your candle.

Trim the wick before each burn when appropriate to maintain a controlled flame.

Do not allow excessive wick length, mushrooming, or significant carbon buildup to develop.

Burning Instructions

Before lighting:

• Place the candle on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep the candle away from flammable materials.
• Trim the wick as directed.
• Remove unnecessary packaging or materials from the candle before burning.
• Make sure the candle is positioned where it cannot easily be knocked over.

While burning:

• Never leave the candle unattended.
• Keep the candle away from children and pets.
• Keep the candle away from drafts.
• Do not move a candle while the wax is liquid or the container is hot.
• Do not burn the candle near combustible objects.
• Follow the burn-time recommendations provided with the product.

After burning:

• Extinguish the flame safely.
• Allow the candle and container to cool completely before handling or moving it.
• Never leave a candle burning when going to sleep or leaving the area.

Candle Containers

Candle containers can become extremely hot during use.

Do not touch or move a burning candle or a recently extinguished candle until it has cooled completely.

Do not place a hot candle directly onto an unprotected or heat-sensitive surface.

Discontinue use if a candle container becomes cracked, damaged, or otherwise compromised.

Do Not Burn a Candle to the Bottom

Do not continue burning a candle when only a small amount of wax remains.

Follow the specific burn instructions provided with your candle and discontinue use before the flame reaches the bottom of the container or the container becomes excessively hot.

Do Not Add Objects to a Burning Candle

Do not place foreign objects, decorations, matches, paper, herbs, crystals, jewelry, or other materials into a burning candle unless the product is specifically designed and tested for those materials.

Candle Accessories

Use candle accessories only for their intended purpose and according to any instructions provided with the product.

Keep lighters, snuffers, wick trimmers, and other candle accessories away from children.

Follow all applicable safety instructions for rechargeable or electronic accessories, including charging and storage instructions supplied with the product.

Fragrance and Wax Appearance

Handmade candles may occasionally exhibit natural variations in wax appearance, including frosting, wet spots, minor surface imperfections, or other cosmetic variations.

These characteristics do not necessarily indicate that a candle is defective.

Fragrance strength may vary depending on room size, ventilation, personal perception, and other environmental conditions.

Damaged Products

Do not use a candle or candle accessory that appears damaged, cracked, broken, leaking, or otherwise unsafe.

Contact Blessed Remedies if you receive a damaged or defective product so we can determine the appropriate next step.

Important Fire Safety Warning

Never use a candle as a source of unattended heat or illumination.

Never leave a candle burning while sleeping.

Never place a burning candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

If a candle fire occurs, do not attempt to carry or move the burning candle. Follow appropriate fire-safety procedures and contact emergency services when necessary.

By purchasing and using Blessed Remedies products, customers are responsible for following all product-specific safety instructions and using products only for their intended purpose.

Blessed Remedies cannot control how a customer stores, handles, lights, burns, modifies, or otherwise uses a product after purchase.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit rights or protections that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

Blessed Remedies strives to manufacture and label its candle products with applicable safety considerations in mind.

Federal and industry guidance concerning candles includes requirements and standards addressing issues such as candle labeling, fire safety, candle containers, emissions, and candle accessories.
